The second audience is represented by their parents. We aim to promote the importance of establishing a STEAM curriculum at a young age, in the home. We seek a representative that can show the parents of STEAM activities their child can participate in. This track will showcase reasons to consider adding STEAM-related projects to their child’s activities through evidence of success in careers utilizing STEAM.
The third audience is represented by the educators of DISD since it all comes back to education. This track will inform the educators of reasons why a STEAM-based curriculum is beneficial to a student’s development through creating methods of implementing STEAM activities into their curriculum, particularly how art and science can be taught together.
